How to Get or Renew Your Arizona Title 4 Training Certificate

  • Arizona liquor law does not mandate that all employees of licensed establishments have a Certificate of Completion for Basic Title 4 Training but most employers require it for certain liability and insurance purposes.
  • A Title 4 Basic Certificate of Completion is mandated along with a Title 4 Management Certificate of Completion for all Owners, Agents, and Managers who are active in the daily operations of the establishment.
  • When enrolling for your Title 4 online Course, you must provide your Name, Address , Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Telephone Number, and email address. You must take the AZ Title 4 Training Course and Exam after 3 years if your choose to renew your Certificate of Completion.
  • You must be 19 years or older to serve alcohol or be a bartender at an on-premise establishment (bars, restaurants, sports venues, hotels, etc)
  • The age to check out (cash register), package, or assist customers with carry-out service can be 16 with supervision of someone 18 or older.

  • After choosing your course(s) you will be transferred to the Arizona Title 4 enrollment page to enroll
  • After enrolling, you will receive a confirmation email with your chosen username and password along with course / exam instructions
  • TheTitle 4 Basic and Manager Course and Food Handler Course are self-paced. However, once the exams are started you must finish it in one sitting
  • After you pass the exam, you may then print your 3 year Title 4 Certificate and or 3 year ANSI Food Handler Certificate.
  • Learn2Serve will send your course completion information to the DLLC and or local county health department as warranted.
